Delete your account

How to delete your account

• On the web: sign in, open Account settings from your icon at the top right, and press "Delete account" at the bottom. Enter your password and press "Delete".
• In the iPhone or Android app: open Settings, press "Delete account", and enter your password.
• If you cannot sign in: send a request through the contact form with the email address you registered. We delete the account after confirming that the request comes from you.

Data that is deleted

• Your name, email address, password, company name and profile photo
• Records of the devices and apps you are signed in on, and of the devices you use
• Workspaces that have no other members, including their boards, cards, comments, attachments and videos

Data that is kept

• Cards, comments and attachments you created in workspaces that have other members stay there as part of that team's work records. They are shown as created by "Deleted user".
• Sign-in history and activity logs are kept for one year to investigate unauthorized use.
• Billing and accounting records are kept for seven years as required by law.
• Deleted data remains in disaster-recovery backups for up to 180 days and is then removed as the backups rotate. It is not used for any purpose other than recovery during that time.

When you cannot delete your account

• You are the only owner of a workspace that has other members: make another member an owner first.
• You still have an active paid plan: cancel it first under Billing in workspace settings on the web.
